Paso Ajenos: Social Justice and Inequalities in the Borderlands is a bilingual art and cultural exhibit that provides an interactive experience promoting awareness and comprehension of border realities. The “Faculty and Teacher Appreciation Night” at the museum is a special event to recognize educators from our border region. This event invites educators to experience the exhibit as a pedagogical tool to incorporate into the classroom. The creators of the exhibit will give remarks on how to build a curriculum that critically engages students on the history and social realities of the borderlands utilizing this exhibit. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served at the event.
