Kids Camp: Pokémon Detective Pikachu

This show is part of our Kids Camp series – our summer program dedicated to providing affordable family movies for maximum family fun. All tickets are just $5 for everyone – little kids, big kids, and grownup kids. Everyone’s favorite electric mouse is back like you’ve never seen him before – in live action. Oh, and instead of following Ash around fighting Team Rocket, he’s a detective. If all of that sounds like gibberish to you, just trust us, it’s awesome. There’s a mystery afoot in the bustling metropolis of Ryme City, where humans and Pokémon live side-by-side but can’t communicate with each other. Tim’s (Justice Smith, PAPER TOWNS) detective father has gone missing, so he teams up with Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds, DEADPOOL), his father’s pokemon partner. Tim realizes he can actually understand what this Pokémon is saying (and man, he can talk). A friendship is forged, and the two embark on an adventure to find Tim’s father that will bring them up against some of the most fearsome Pokémon imaginable. POKÉMON DETECTIVE PIKACHU is a rollicking good time, even if you’re unfamiliar with the source material.
