Spring has sprung which means kitten season is right around the corner. Join the Humane Society of El Paso and Paws in Paintings on Saturday, April 1 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Humane Society (4991 Fred Wilson Ave) for our annual Kitten Shower! Guests can expect food trucks, live music, an art auction with pieces from local artists, a donation drive and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn what puppy and kitten season is and how to care for them. All proceeds raised from Kitten Shower will benefit the Humane Society of El Paso. Kitten season is known as feline breeding season which takes place during warm months. Shelters across the nation, including HSEP, experience large numbers of cat and kitten intake. In addition, HSEP sees an increase in kittens needing foster care due to their young age. To prepare for our upcoming arrival, HSEP invites the community to our annual kitten donation drive and encourages those interested in fostering to contact us.
