Cook&Cork: Artisanal Mole

Mole poblano has its legendary origins in the Convent of Santa Clara in Puebla, this authentic Mole Sauce (Mole Poblano) is made by toasting and blending sweet and earthy ingredients and spices including dried chiles, peanuts, sesame seeds, chocolate, cinnamon and anise. Texas Culinary Institute is having a cooking class where you'll learn how to make these amazing dishes along Chef Luisa Del Castillo. Mole Cactus Salad Marquesitas & because everything tastes better with wine, Cook&Cork is BYOB (bring your own bottle) so you can cook & relax in our kitchen. - Cook&Corks are BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle). - Students must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol. - $95 per person. - Tips for our staff are not required but are greatly appreciated. - Please note that we do not offer refunds but honor a 48 hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule your reservation. - No dietary restrictions or allergies will be accommodated for these classes. - Class size is limited to 14 people. Reservations are based on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis. - Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. If you have long hair, be sure to tie it behind your head. - Students will receive a full copy of recipes.
