A starring vehicle for ubiquitous NBA superstar Michael Jordan, this live action-animation comedy teams the greatest basketball player of all time with some of the greatest cartoon characters of all time. The aliens from amusement park Moron Mountain are in trouble. Sales are dwindling. They need an extra-special attraction to stay in business. They find their answer in the Looney Tunes and demand they accompany them back to Moron Mountain. Quick-thinking Bugs Bunny leads the other Toons in challenging the aliens to a basketball game to determine their fate. Recognizing their athletic deficiencies, the aliens steal the talent of NBA stars and become the formidable “Monstars.” Recognizing this drastic turn of events, Bugs and his gang recruit Michael Jordan for their final showdown. Besides popularizing Seal’s song Fly Like an Eagle, the film blends animation with live action footage while presenting a slew of famous faces and voices. — Kristin Trick
