Plan on arriving about a little early as we will start at 6pm SHARP - Keep in mind the Cool Canyons traffic. Anyone who wants can join in Cool Canyon nights after. Come get exercise and this is a perfect place to do an offtrail 1/2 miles hard to strenuous hike to an amazing HEART ROCK. We will take photos then decent while it's still light out. McKelligon Canyon - top of the road staying left- start at 6 pm sharp We will stay in a group. This should not take longer then 2 hours max including photos. Meet at 5:45pm McKelligon Canyon - top of the road staying left- start at 6 pm sharp We will stay in a group. This should not take longer then 1.5 hours max including photos. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 2 LITERS OF WATER, PLEASE DO NOT COME. IT IS STILL WARM AND ITS IS A CLIMB. Please do not forget your 2 or more liters of water. We will hike to the ridge. This is a short but mighty hike that will test you in many ways if you are not used to the off-trail hiking. Items needed: Water, 2-3 liters minimum. Good close toed shoes, hiking poles if you have them, a good hat for protection from the sun as there is no shade on the trail. Snacks are always good to have. Bring any medications you may personally need. Hiking poles if you like them. This hike is not dog or family friendly. The hike is not pet friendly.
